Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Delhi to Chandigarh
Depart for Chandigarh. On arrival check in hotel.
Chandigarh is the 1st planned modern city of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. The city was named after the mother goddess of power, Chandi, whose temple Chandimandu is a feature of the new city.
Later in the day visit Rose Garden, Rock Garden, Lake.

Day 2 : Chandigarh to Manali
After breakfast depart for Manali.
Manali is blessed with natures finest gifts. The enchanting valley is so picturesque that it has earned the name Switzerland of India. The sky touching mountain peaks, the kingdom of clouds, the colorful valley, the lush green vegetation, the friendly people and many more things come to ones mind when they think about Manali.
Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 3 : Manali
After breakfast sightseeing of places in and around Manali, Like Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Vashisht Bath, Van Vihar, Tibetan Monastery, Club House and evening shopping at the local market Mall Road.

Day 4 : Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali
Full day Excursion to Rohatang Pass.
Situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and 51 kms outside Manali is the mighty Rohtang Pass - the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendor.
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5 : Manali - Dharamshala
After breakfast depart for Dharamshala.
On arrival check in hotel
Day is free for rest
Dharamsala, popularly known as the ‘Queen of the Hills’, is divided into lower and upper towns with a difference of 457m(1500ft.) between them. The mountains enfold 3 sides of the town and the valley stretches to the south. There is a beautiful resort of Dharamsala, which stands on the spur of the Dharamsala range. Over night at Hotel.

Day 6 : Dharamshala
After breakfast depart for Local sightseeing.
Visit the Baijnath temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Later visit the Tibetan monastery in Maclodganj (upper Dharamshala) a seat of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama.
Rest of the day is at leisure or explores local Tibetan markets at the Maclodgunj

Day 7 : Dharamshala - Amritsar
Early breakfast check out hotel.
Depart for Amritsar.
Amritsar, home to the Golden Temple is one of the most ancient and fascinating cities of India. It is an important seat of Sikh history and culture. Being the gateway for travellers coming to India on the overland route from central Asia it soon became the centre of various commercial activities. There are various historical and religious sites - see Amritsar City Map. The most famous of them all in the Golden Temple which was founded by the fourth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Ramdas and completed by his successor Guru Arjan Dev.
Arrive Amritsar by Lunch
Later in the day proceed for Wagah Border
One of the many nearby places to visit from Amritsar is the Wagah Border. Located on the Indo-Pakistan border, Wagah is 28 kilometres from the Amritsar main town. A good number of visitors come to this place to see the change of guards ceremony and the flag hoisting and lowering activities which are done with great skill and precision by the border security forces of both the countries. Day 8 : Amritsar - Delhi
After breakfast Local Sightseeing.
Visit Golden Temple, Jaliawalah Bagh
